Program rules for Speaker Engagement bonus payments for creators

To receive a Speaker Engagement bonus payout from Instagram, you will be required to comply with the below Program Rules (as referenced in the Instagram Creator Incentive Terms), in addition to the Program Rules applicable to Bonuses on Instagram. By proceeding with this program, you agree to these Program Rules:
- To receive your payment, you must have a business or creator account.
- You must complete the Speaker Release form shared by your Meta representative. You will need to sign a new Speaker Release for each event for which you are eligible to receive a Speaker Engagement bonus.
- Complete the set-up process below to receive bonuses in the Instagram app.
Complete set up and choose your payment method
Before your first event, we will ask you to set up the Speaker Engagement bonus in the Instagram app and choose how you would like to be paid.
After you sign the Speaker Release, you will be directed to complete this set up process.
To set up Bonuses from the Professional Dashboard in the Instagram app:
- Tap Get started.
- Choose Business or Creator and tap Next.
- Review the Terms and Conditions and tap Agree to terms.
- If you haven’t previously, enter your business info or select from your existing options. Tap Next.
- If you have already set up existing payment options, choose how you would like to be paid. Otherwise, enter your payment details. Tap Next.
- Review the details of the Speaker Engagement bonus, including the offered payment. Tap Activate bonus.
- Tap Done.
You are now set up to be paid for speaking at Instagram business events.
Track your Speaker Engagement bonus
You can track your bonus payments, including how much you have earned, your previous payments and future earning opportunities, by tapping Bonuses in Professional Dashboard.
Once you have signed Speaker Release, the upcoming event will be added and marked as In progress. After your attendance is confirmed, the status will change to Past and your Speaker Engagement bonus will be submitted for payment.
How you will be paid
You will receive an invoice for your Speaker Engagement bonus within 60 days of the event.
You will then be paid according to the regular Instagram payout schedule.
