Where to find project invitations
Once you have joined creator marketplace, you can find any project invitations from brands in your Partnership messages folder.
  1. From your Instagram messages, tap Partnership messages.
  2. Click on a message from a brand.
  3. If the brand has sent you a project, you will see a preview with the project name, proposed payment, number of pieces of content requested, and the date to post the content. Tap View project to view more details.
You can reply to the brand’s message directly to ask for more information and ask any questions.
Understanding project invitations
Each project you receive in partnership messages will include details of what the brand is looking for.
You can message the brand to discuss any changes you would like to request to the offered payment, the content to create, or the date to post.
  • About the project: General information about the project, for example, about the campaign the brand wants you to create branded content for.
  • Content to create: A breakdown of the amount and formats of content the brand would like created. This could include Reels, posts, live videos and stories.
  • Date to post: The date the brand would like you to share the content on Instagram.
  • Offered payment: The amount the brand is offering for the project. This can include a payment for the content, any additional payment the brand will pay to boost your content into ads, and any extras, such as gifted products. Note: The brand is responsible for the payment and will pay you directly. Make sure you agree on the conditions of payment and how the brand will pay you.
  • About the brand: You can tap on the brand to view their Instagram profile, or tap Message to send them a message.
How to accept a project on Instagram
From the Project screen, tap Accept project. The brand will be notified once you do this.
When you accept the project, you're agreeing to post the content outlined in exchange for the offered payment.
Note: Before accepting, make sure you are happy with the project details.
If you have agreed to any changes with the brand, make sure these have been updated before tapping Accept project. The brand will not be able to make changes once you accept.
How to view your current projects on Instagram
From the Branded content screen, tap Manage projects to view all of your accepted projects.
You can tap on any project to view the project details.
Sharing content for a project
We recommend that you share a draft of the content with the brand. You can do this by sending a message from your Partnership messages folder in your Instagram messages.
To count content towards a project, you must select the project when adding the paid partnership label.
  1. Tap Add a brand from a project.
  2. Select the project the content is for. The relevant brand will appear in the paid partnership label and any agreed ad permissions from the project will be given. You can also add any audience restrictions required for the content, such as age restrictions.
  3. Tap Back.
  4. Complete the rest of your post as usual.
Completing your project
Once you've posted all content for a project, the project status will change from “In progress” to “You’ve posted all content”. The brand will be notified and will be able to send you the agreed payment.
The brand will pay you directly, so make sure you agree on where the brand will send the payment.
If you have any questions about the payment or payment method, you can reach out to the brand directly.
When the brand has marked the project as paid, the project will update to show the amount earned.
