Add Yours sticker on Instagram
The Add Yours sticker allows you to interact with others on Instagram by writing or responding to a prompt.

Adding the sticker to your story or reel

After you create a story or record a reel, you can add the Add Yours sticker:
  1. Tap stickers at the top and select the Add Yours sticker.
  2. Write a prompt that you want others to respond to in their own stories or reels about any topic you want, or tap random or See more prompts at the bottom for suggested prompts.
  3. Tap Done in the top right.
You’ll be notified when someone adds to your prompt unless you turn notifications off. Tap more actions on your story or reel to manage notifications.

“Started by” credit

The “Started by” credit shows others on Instagram who started the prompt. People won’t be able to see you started the prompt if:
  • You’ve blocked their account.
  • Your account's privacy setting is set to private and the account viewing a story or reel with a response to your Add Yours prompt doesn’t follow you.
  • You shared your story or reel with your Close Friends list and the account viewing it isn’t on your Close Friends list.
  • You delete the original story or reel or delete your Instagram account.
  • You’ve chosen to hide your username from the “Started by” credit. Tap more actions on your story or reel to hide your username from the “Started by” credit.

Adding to the sticker with your own story or reel

  1. When viewing a story or reel with the Add Yours sticker, tap camera Add yours on the sticker to add your own story or reel to it.
  2. If you’re adding to a story, take a photo or video, or select one from your camera roll, and share it to your story. If you’re adding to a reel, record and share your reel.
Tap the prompt to see what public accounts and accounts you follow have added to the sticker.
When you share your story or reel, only those in your selected audience will be able to see it. If your account is set to private, only your followers can see what you added to the sticker. Accounts you’ve blocked won’t be able to see what you’ve shared.
Note: You can also create or add to an Add Yours Template and share it on your story.
