Add a poll to your post on Threads
When you start a thread or reply in a thread, you can include a poll in your post on Threads.
Add a poll to your post
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Before posting your post or reply, enter the question or statement for your poll as text.
- Tap
for poll options to appear. You can use the preset Yes or No options or you can:
- Tap Yes and enter your first poll option.
- Tap No and enter your second poll option.
- Tap Add another option to add more poll options. Note: you can only have up to 4 poll options.
- When you’re ready, tap Post in the bottom right. If you’d like to remove your poll before posting, tap Remove poll below your poll options.
When you post a poll, your poll will include a countdown timer. Others will have up to 24 hours to vote in your poll.
Keep in mind
- If you’re editing a post, your poll can’t be removed or updated.
- Poll options have a 25-character limit.
- You can’t vote in polls you post.
- Each participant in your poll will be able to see what they voted for. However, you and other participants won't be able to see which option they chose.
