Report a song while adding music to what you're sharing on Instagram
When you share a story, reel, post or note on Instagram, you can add music to it. If you come across music containing hate speech, human exploitation, or other issues, you can report it.
To report a song on Instagram:
- While adding music to what you’re sharing on Instagram, tap and hold on the song you want to report.
- Tap Report audio.
- Tap a category. Note: Some categories may have additional options to select.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
