Create your own stickers on Instagram with Cutouts
You can create your own stickers on Instagram with Cutouts. Cutouts helps you make more unique reels and stories by allowing you to create custom stickers from your own photos in your camera roll, or from eligible images you see on Instagram.
Create a custom sticker with Cutouts
To create a custom sticker with Cutouts:
  1. When creating a reel or story, tap stickers at the top.
  2. Tap Cutouts.
  3. Select a photo or video with a clear subject.
  4. A sticker will be automatically generated from the photo or video. If it’s not what you wanted, you can tap Select manually in the bottom left to select the object you want for your sticker. Note: you can only pick one object at a time for the sticker.
  5. You can create your reel or story then, or save your sticker and use it later.
  6. To access your sticker at a later time, tap stickers Stickers and select the sticker to add it to your reel or story. Stickers will be saved at the top of the sticker tray for you to use again.
Create a custom sticker from someone else’s post with Cutouts
Keep in mind that you’ll only be able to create a sticker from a photo on Instagram if the person who shared the photo has a public account and has enabled permissions for you to do so.
To create a custom sticker from someone else’s photo with Cutouts:
  1. Go to the photo you want to create a sticker from.
  2. Tap more actions in the top right of the post.
  3. Tap Create a cutout sticker.
Note: If you created a sticker with Cutouts from someone else’s post and that post is deleted, your content using that sticker will also be deleted.
Other Instagram users may be able to create stickers from your posts if you have a public account and if you allow reuse of your content. You can turn this off in your account settings or for individual posts by tapping more actions in the top right of the post. Learn more about reuse of media on Instagram.
Delete stickers you’ve created with Cutouts
To delete a sticker you’ve created with Cutouts:
  1. Create a new reel or story on Instagram.
  2. Tap stickers Stickers.
  3. In the Your stickers section, tap and hold on a sticker you’ve created.
  4. Tap Delete.
Any reels or stories you’ve created with that sticker will also be deleted.
