Accessing and Downloading Your Instagram Information

Instagram provides you with ways to access, download and transfer your information to another service.
Access Your Data:
You can access specific types of Instagram data, such as your Profile Info and Connections on Instagram, by logging into your Instagram account and using the Account Data tool. You can access the Account Data Tool from the Privacy and Security section of Instagram Settings.

Download Your Data:
You can also get a copy of your Instagram data using the Data Download tool. The Data Download tool allows you to request a file that includes your photos, comments, profile information and more. You can access the Data Download tool from the Privacy and Security section of Instagram Settings.
Downloading your data is a password-protected process. Only you will have access to your download file. Once you've requested your file, it will be available for download for a few days. We provide your downloaded data in a machine-readable format, in case you want to transfer it to another service.
Because it may contain personal information, be sure to keep the link private and only download the archive to your own computer.
Our Data Policy has more information about how we collect and use your information, how it's shared and how long we retain it.
