How shops on Instagram work
Shops on Instagram are only available on the Instagram mobile app on your iPhone or Android device.
Shops on Instagram showcase products. They allow you to see and buy products on Instagram.
In shops, you can look through collections of products. Collections may have been customized by the shop so you see the most relevant products.
How to view a shop on Instagram
To view a shop on the Instagram app:
- Go to the profile of the shop you want to browse.
- Tap View shop.
From here, you can also view the shop’s customer ratings, shipping and pay securely details, and be able to Follow and Shop all products.

PurchasesWhen buying from shops on Instagram, you can checkout directly in the app with Meta Pay for a seamless and secure shopping experience.
You will also have access to order details and customer support for payment inquiries.
If you tap View on website on a product page that directs you to a shop's website to complete the transaction, you will no longer be on Instagram.
This means that your activity (including any purchases you make) will be governed by the shop's privacy policy and terms of service.
