Restrict or unrestrict someone on Threads
When you restrict someone, you won’t receive any more notifications about that person including if they like, reply to, repost or quote your content. You can restrict any profile on Threads, even if you don’t follow them. We won’t let them know you restricted them and you’ll still be following their profile.
Restrict someone on Threads
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
at the bottom.
- Tap Search in the search bar at the top.
- Type who you want to restrict or unrestrict, then tap the search button in the bottom right of your keyboard.
- Tap on their name to go to their profile.
- Tap
in the top right of their profile, then tap Restrict or Unrestrict.
If you’ve restricted a profile on Threads, the Instagram account connected to that profile will also be restricted. If you’ve restricted an account on Instagram, the Threads profile connected to that account will also be restricted.
If you feel like you’re being harassed, you can hide replies you don’t want to see or report a profile.
