Turn notifications on or off for someone you follow on Threads
When you turn on notifications for someone you follow on Threads, you'll get a notification each time they post a thread. People aren't notified when you turn notifications on or off for them.
There are multiple ways you can manage post notifications for someone you follow on Threads.
Through your profile
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap Followers below your profile info.
- Tap Following at the top.
- Search for the profile you want to see new thread notifications for, then tap their account name to go to their profile.
- Tap
in the top right of their profile.
Through search
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
at the bottom.
- Tap Search in the search bar at the top.
- Type who you want to turn notifications on or off for, then tap the search button in the bottom right of your keyboard.
- Tap on their account name to go to their profile.
- Tap
If you'd like to turn notifications on or off for multiple people, you'll have to visit each profile and turn them on or off individually.
