Manage push notifications on Threads
You can turn push notifications on or off for each type of notification listed below. If you have notifications turned on, you can also choose who you want to receive notifications about.
We may send notifications for several reasons, including when someone:
- Likes or replies to one of your threads
- Mentions you
- Reposts or quotes your content
- Follows you or accepts your follow request
Manage your push notifications
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap
Notifications.
- Select the notification category you want to change (example: Threads and replies, Following and followers).
- Scroll to the notification type you want to manage and tap
to the right of the option you want to select (example: Off, From people you follow, From everyone). Note that not all notification types have From people you follow as an option.
