Report an end-to-end encrypted message
Instagram app for Android and iPhone- Tap on an end-to-end encrypted chat from your Chats list.
- Tap and hold the message in the chat you want to report.
- Tap Report at the bottom.
What happens when you report an encrypted conversation
You can choose to report end-to-end encrypted chats or messages on Instagram that you think go against our Community Guidelines.
We’ll be able to see and review up to 30 of the most recent messages sent in a conversation that you choose to report and send to us from your device. Note that you can’t report video or audio calls on Instagram.
Keep in mind that your report is anonymous, except if you’re reporting an intellectual property infringement. The account you reported won’t see who reported them.
