Meta Verified for creators is a paid monthly subscription that comes with features like the verified badge, account support, impersonation protection, and more.
The verified badge shows that your account is verified so you can stand out and build credibility with your audience.
Per eligibility and where available, we offer several subscription benefits for Meta Verified creators.

- A verified badge means an account has been verified based on their activity across our products or information and documents they provide.

Getting verified
Creators that meet our eligibility requirements can verify up to two eligible profiles (one Instagram and one Facebook).
You’ll follow a verification process and submit an application for review.
Step 1. Choose your profile(s)
You’ll choose the profile(s) you want to verify and set up your monthly subscription payment.
You can verify up to two eligible profiles (one Instagram and one Facebook) that are added to the same Accounts Center. When you verify two profiles at the same time, you get a discounted price. Both profiles may need to have the same name and picture.
Note: Subscribing to Meta Verified on Instagram won’t transfer over to your Facebook account, and vice versa.

Step 2. Confirm your identity
You’ll confirm your identity and help secure your account with two-factor authentication.
Two-factor authentication helps protect your account by requiring a code each time you access your account on a device we don’t recognize.
To confirm your identity, you’ll need to upload photos of a government-issued photo ID.
Step 3. Get reviewed
Once you complete the application process and submit your information, we’ll review it and update your verification status after our review is complete. This process can take up to 2 business days.
Once you’re verified
After your application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive access to Meta Verified benefits, including the verified badge.
Your verified badge will be displayed:
- On your verified profile(s)
- In the comments section next to your profile picture
- In search results next to your name and profile picture
- In direct messages next to your profile picture
- In Reels, Stories, and Feed
Existing subscribers
For existing Meta Verified subscribers
In certain regions, the Meta Verified creator subscription will now be called “Meta Verified Standard”. Existing subscribers will continue having access to the same benefits, unless we notify you otherwise.
For existing verified badge holders
If you already have an existing verified badge based on prior requirements, you can still subscribe to Meta Verified.
Important information
- Meta Verified subscribers must agree to the Terms of Service and follow our Instagram Terms of Use, Facebook Terms of Service, Facebook Community Standards, and Instagram Community Guidelines.
- If you provide false or misleading information during the verification process, Meta may prevent your profile from being verified or take additional action on the account.
