Update the payment method for your Meta Verified creator subscription

Meta Verified creators that have successfully completed the verification process can update the subscription payment method.
You’ll need to use an accepted payment method.

Note: Steps may differ depending on where you purchased your subscription.

Update payment method

Instagram mobile app (iPhone)
If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you’ll need to update your payment method through the Apple App Store.
Instagram mobile app (Android)
If you purchased your subscription through Google, you’ll need to update your payment method through the Google Play Store.
Instagram website (Desktop)
To update your Meta Verified payment method on Instagram:
  1. Log into your verified Instagram account on a computer.
  2. Click menu in the bottom left, then click Settings.
  3. Click Accounts Center in the left menu.
  4. Click Payments, then click Payment info.
  5. Click next to the card you want to set as your default payment method.
Facebook mobile app (iPhone)
If you purchased your subscription through Apple, you’ll need to update your payment method through the Apple App Store.
Facebook mobile app (Android)
If you purchased your subscription through Google, you’ll need to update your payment method through the Google Play Store.
Facebook website (Desktop)
To update your Meta Verified payment method on Facebook:
  1. Log into your verified Facebook account on a computer.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. Click Accounts Center.
  5. Click Payments, then click Payment info.
  6. Click next to the card you want to set as your default payment method.

Any changes to your default payment method will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. To keep your subscription active, you need to have at least one payment method on file at all times.
We recommend adding a backup payment method. If your default payment method fails for any reason, your backup payment will be charged to keep your subscription active.
