About Meta Verified on Threads

When you subscribe your profile to Meta Verified on Instagram, your verified badge carries over to your Threads profile. This is because Threads is connected to your Instagram account.
Note: Meta Verified is not available to subscribe to on Threads. You need to subscribe directly on Instagram for your verified badge to carry over to Threads.
- What carries over to Threads: Your verified badge carries over and is displayed on your Threads profile. If you already have an existing verified badge based on prior requirements, it will still carry over to Threads.
- What does not carry over to Threads: Meta Verified subscription benefits don’t carry over to your Threads profile. These benefits are only available on Instagram.
If your Instagram profile is subscribed to Meta Verified, you can only change your profile name and picture on Instagram. Changing your profile name and picture on Instagram will also change your name and picture on Threads.
Note: You can change your profile picture and name directly on Threads if your Instagram account has an existing verified badge based on prior requirements.
