How to edit your business information on Instagram
You can edit your professional account's Page, business category, and contact information directly from the Instagram app.
Before you begin
- You must be using a professional account in order to edit your business information.
How to edit your business information
To edit your business information on Instagram:
- Go to your professional account.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Under Public Business Information, you can edit the following: the Page your Instagram professional account is connected to, Business Category, and Business contact info.
- You also have the option to display or hide your business category and contact information on your profile. To do this, go to Profile Display under Public Business Information to choose whether you want to hide or display your category label and contact info.
- Once you've finished updating your business info, tap Done (iPhone) or
(Android) to return to your profile.
How to edit your business location
To add your businesses' location so it displays on the Instagram Map:
- Edit the address on your Facebook Page.
- Select the Instagram tab to connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Business page.
Within 48 hours, your business location on Instagram is visible on the Instagram Map and taggable in posts and stories.
