Check if your Instagram Account is Connected to a Meta Ad Account
You can check if your Instagram professional account is connected to Facebook at any time.
To check if your Instagram account is connected to a Meta ad account:
- Go to your profile and tap
in the upper right corner.
- Select Business tools and controls or Creator tools and controls depending on your profile type.
- Tap Ad Payments.
- Tap Payment methods.
- Under Your Account, you’ll either see a number or a name.
- If you see a number, your Instagram account isn’t connected to an ad account. You won’t be able to connect to an ad account at this time, but you can continue to create ads on Instagram.
- If you see a name, your Instagram account is connected to an ad account. If you’ve already boosted posts on Instagram, you’ve likely already connected an ad account to your Instagram account.
After checking if your Instagram account is connected to an ad account, you can continue to create ads on Instagram and access other business account features.
