Instagram Insights in Commerce Manager
In the Insights tab of Commerce Manager, you can download a detailed spreadsheet with insights for your shoppable Instagram posts and stories. This report can be used to understand how people are interacting and engaging with your products on Instagram. It shares the following information on posts and stories that you and your creators have shared.
CSV Report Columns
These are the definitions of each column that you may find in this report:
  • Account Name: The account that posted the post or story.
  • Total Impressions: The number of times a post or story was on screen.
  • Impressions From Feed: The number of impressions a post received when it was displayed on feed. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Impressions from Explore: The number of impressions a post received from Explore. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Impressions From Profile: The number of impressions a post received from the profile of the account that posted it. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Impressions From Hashtag: The number of impressions a post received from accounts that found the post or story through hashtags. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Impressions From Location Tags: The number of impressions a post received from accounts that found the post or story through a location tag. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Impressions From Other Sources: The number of impressions a post received from accounts that found the post or story through sources other than feed, Explore, profile, hashtags or location tags. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Reach: The number of unique accounts that have seen this post or story at least once. Reach is different from impressions, which can include multiple views by the same accounts. The reach metric is estimated.
  • Reach From Non-Followers: The number of unique accounts that have seen this post or story at least once and do not follow the account it was posted from. Reach is different from impressions, which can include multiple views by the same accounts. The reach metric is estimated.
  • Likes: The number of likes on a post. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Comments: The number of comments on a post. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Shares: The number of shares a post or story received.
  • Saves: The number of saves a post received. This metric is only available for posts.
  • Profile Visits: The number of times your profile was viewed by someone who also viewed your post or story. This metric is only available for accounts you own, not accounts that you partner with.
  • Follows: The number of accounts that followed you after viewing your post or story. This metric is only available for accounts you own, not accounts that you partner with.
  • Forward Taps: The number of times someone tapped forward to the next story. This metric is only available for stories.
  • Back Taps: The number of times someone tapped back to the previous story. This metric is only available for stories.
  • Next Story Swipes: The number of times someone swiped to the next story in their feed. This metric is only available for stories.
  • Exit Story Taps: The number of times someone exited a story. This metric is only available for stories.
  • Product Page Views: The number of views your product detail pages received from all the product tags on a post or story.
  • Sticker Taps: The number of taps on the location, hashtag, mention or product stickers on a photo or video. This metric is only available for stories.
  • Product Page Views per Product Tag: The number of views of a product detail page for each product tagged in a post or story.
  • Merchant Tagged: The account tagged in a post or story.
  • Product Tagged: The products tagged in a post or story.
  • Product Group Retailer ID for Product Tags: The Product Group Retailer ID of the product tagged in a post or story.
  • Retailer ID for Product Tags: The retailer ID or SKU of the product tagged in a post or story.
