Donate to fundraisers on Instagram Reels

You can donate to nonprofit fundraisers you see shared in Reels. We cover all of the payment processing fees for donations made to nonprofit fundraisers on Instagram. Learn more about fundraiser donations on Instagram.
When you choose Username or Username and Amount as the visibility for your donation, only people who follow you and the fundraiser creator will see your donation. The nonprofit may also see your donation. A nonprofit’s ability to see donor’s depends on how they’ve chosen to use our Fundraising Tools.
Donate to a fundraiser on a Reel
- On your iPhone device, open the Instagram app.
- Open the Reel with the fundraiser you want to donate to.
- Note: You can find the Reel by searching for the user. Tap on their name, and you should see all of their content.
- Tap the fundraiser name or Donate, then tap Donate.
- Enter the amount you want to donate.
- Choose the visibility for your donation:
- Hidden: Only the fundraiser creator and the nonprofit will see your donation.
- Username only: Only your username will be visible. Only people who follow you will see that you donated to this fundraiser.
- Username and amount: Your username and donation amount will be visible. Only people who follow you will see your donation.
- Tap Donate.
