Cancel an order you made on Instagram
This only applies to orders made in shops on Instagram.
Before your order ships, you may be able to cancel it. You'll need to message the shop directly to request cancellation. Cancellations are at the shop's discretion.
If your order has shipped or if your cancellation request is not accepted, you may be able to return your order within 30 days of purchase, where available.
Contact a shop to request cancellation
  1. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap more options in the top right.
  3. Below Your orders, fundraisers and cart, tap Orders and payments.
  4. Below Recent activity, tap your order.
  5. Scroll down and tap Get help with this order.
  6. Tap Making changes to an item.
  7. You'll then be prompted to message the seller. Once finished, tap Send.
Keep in mind that for orders with more than one item, canceling one item will cancel the whole order.
