Manage your saved payment information and which accounts have access to it in Accounts Center
Your payment information that was previously saved on Facebook or Instagram is now available in Accounts Center. This includes any payment methods or shipping info that you may have saved.
Unless you opt to separate your payment information, your payment information will remain synced across your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Please note: If Shop Pay or PayPal is your only payment method saved for Meta Pay, your payment methods will not be synced across accounts.
With your payment information synced across accounts in the same Accounts Center, you can view and manage your payment, shipping, and contact information in one place across apps with Meta Pay.
Sync or manage your payment info from the Instagram app
- Open the Instagram app for iOS or Android.
- Tap your profile picture and then, tap
.
- Tap Settings and Privacy, then tap Accounts Center.
- Under Account settings, tap Meta Pay.
- To sync your payment information across accounts when they aren’t all synced, tap Manage synced payment info at the bottom.
- To sync your payment information across accounts when no payment information is synced tap Sync payment info at the top.
- From the Meta Pay screen, tap on the accounts with synced or separate payment information that you’d like to manage. Note: If your payment info is synced across all of your accounts, you do not need to tap into one account.
- From here, you can update your saved payment methods, email address, shipping address, and phone number.
Separate your synced payment information from the Instagram app
- Open the Instagram app for iOS or Android.
- Tap your profile picture and then, tap
- Tap Settings and privacy, then tap Accounts Center.
- Under Account settings, tap Meta Pay.
- Tap
next to Synced across [#] accounts.
- Deselect any accounts that you want to separate your payment information from.
Please note that when you separate previously synced payment information, that payment information (including payment methods, delivery address, name, email, and payment activity) will still be accessible on the Facebook and Instagram accounts that were previously synced.
While separated, further updates to your payment information on Instagram or Facebook will not sync between each other.
