About link sticker on Instagram Stories
You can use a sticker to include a link to your Instagram stories. When people tap on this link sticker in your story, they'll be redirected to the linked website.
Remember that these link stickers can only be used in organic Instagram Stories. However, Instagram Stories ads support a default call-to-action sticker that is automatically placed at the bottom of your ad. To optimize ad creative for call-to-action stickers in Instagram Stories ads, ensure that the ad creative follows ad specification guidance for Instagram Stories and leave roughly 14% of the top and 20% of the bottom of your creative free from text, logos, or other key creative elements to prevent the sticker from covering them. You can also adjust the default position of the sticker for ads in the 9:16 ratio in the ad creative section in Meta Ads Manager. Partnership ads on Instagram
You can’t create partnership ads from Stories with organic link stickers. To turn a branded content story into an ad, the creator should not include the link sticker. To link a website in your partnership Stories ad, you can do the following:
  • When boosting existing content in Ads Manager, you can add a link that will appear as a default call-to-action sticker for Instagram Stories ads.
  • You can create partnership Stories ads in Ads Manager without an existing post when given permission by the creator with ad creation access. You can use this creation method to add a link that will appear as a default call-to-action sticker for Instagram Stories ads.
