Add music to a post with multiple photos on Instagram
When you create a post with multiple photos on Instagram, it’s called a carousel. When you create a carousel post, you can add music.
Add music to your post
Note: Music cannot be added to carousels with videos.
- Open the Instagram app.
- Tap
at the bottom or swipe right anywhere in Feed.
- Tap POST at the bottom.
- Tap
SELECT MULTIPLE.
- Select your images.
- Tap Next in the top right.
- Choose your filters, then tap Next in the top right.
- Tap Add music. You can:
- Choose a suggested song in “For you”
- Find music in “Browse”
- Type to search in the search bar
- When you’ve chosen your music, you can edit the segment of the song you want in your post.
- Tap Done in the top right.
- Finish your post and tap Share.
