How to create exclusive social channels for Instagram subscribers
This product or feature may not be available to you yet.
Subscriber social channels allow Instagram creators to better connect and build community with their paying subscribers.
Before you begin
  • You can have multiple ongoing social channels within a 30-day period.
  • Each social channel will be limited to 250 participants max (including the creator).
  • Your subscribers must join your social channel through your story sticker, pinned channel, or through their Subscription Settings. Note: Your subscribers have access to Subscriptions Settings where they can tap Channels you can join to view and select the social channel they’d like to join, then tapping Join to opt in.
  • Each social channel will be time-bound to 30 days, but you can end it early if you choose. Once the 30 days are up, the social channel will end and become “read only," so it will still be visible in your inbox, but no one will be able to send additional messages.
  • If you’d like to end the social channel before the 30-day period, go to thread details and scroll past the Subscribers list and tap End channel.
