Manage account-level permissions for partnership ads in the Instagram app
Branded content ads are now called partnership ads.
Account-level permissions requests for partnership ads can be managed through the Instagram app. You can also send partnership ad requests and manage account-level permissions in Meta Business Suite.
Note: Instagram web is not supported at this time.
Before you begin
- You must have a professional account on Instagram.
- Your content must be eligible and approved for Instagram partnership ads and branded content.
How to approve or decline a partnership ad request
To review a pending partnership ad request:
- In the Instagram app, go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap Creator or Business depending on your professional account type.
Note: Some accounts may see creator tools and controls or business tools and controls instead. - Tap Partnership ads.
- Tap Ad partners.
- Tap Pending requests, then tap Approve or Decline.
How to revoke permissions from an ad partner
To remove partnership ad permissions from an ad partner:
- In the Instagram app, tap Settings.
- Tap Creator or Business depending on your professional account type.
Note: Some accounts may see creator tools and controls or business tools and controls instead. - Tap Partnership ads.
- Tap Ad partners.
- Tap Remove next to the partner whose permissions you want to remove.
