Create a branded content campaign on Instagram's creator marketplace
This feature is only available for business and creator accounts on Instagram.
This product or feature may not be available to you yet.
Campaigns make it easier to collaborate with creators on Instagram’s creator marketplace.
After you've created a campaign, you'll be able to share important details with creators and invite them to work with you.
Note: If you decide to opt out of Instagram’s creator marketplace, you must not have any active campaigns and must make any pending project payments.
Before you begin
If it is your first time on creator marketplace, you will first need to sign up and agree to terms.
  1. On Meta Business Suite, click Creator marketplace in the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Click Get Started.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: The first time you access paid partnership features, you will be asked to agree to terms. Click Get started to begin, then click Agree when prompted.
How to create a branded content campaign
To create a campaign on Instagram's creator marketplace:
  1. On Meta Business Suite, click Creator marketplace in the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Click Campaigns in the left hand toolbar.
  3. Click Create campaign.
  4. Select a campaign goal. Note: You can enter your own goal by selecting Other from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose whether you would like your campaign to be discoverable by creators or invite-only.
  6. Choose whether you would like your offer to be fixed or negotiable:
    • Negotiable means you can customize some details for individual creators, for example, the content requested or compensation.
    • Fixed means changes can’t be made to the content requested or compensation.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter your campaign name and description. You can also choose a cover image that the creator will see when they receive your project details to help your campaign stand out and show the style you’re interested in. Then, click Next.
  9. If you made your project discoverable by creators, you’ll be able to narrow the creators you'd like to be able to apply. You can filter by age, gender or followers. Then, click Next.
  10. Select your deliverables. You can choose:
    • The number of each type of content you would like created, choosing from Reels, Stories and posts.
    • Any details about the content and the date you want the content posted. Note: This date isn’t enforced by Meta.
    • The date when you would like creators to register their interest by.
    • If you also would like to request permission to boost the content as an ad. Learn more about partnership ads
  11. Click Next.
  12. Enter the compensation you're offering for the project. This can include payment for the content and for permission to boost the ads, as well as any free product. Then, enter the payment method you will use to pay the creator and any details about the payment. Note: All payments are made off the Meta platform.
  13. Click Next.
  14. Review your campaign and click Publish.
Once you have created your campaign, you can create a project template to send to creators.
You can also edit your campaign name, goal, description and cover image by clicking on your campaign in the Campaigns tab, then clicking the Edit button.
How to invite a creator to your branded content campaign
You can reach out to a creator directly through creator marketplace and invite them to collaborate on your campaign.
  1. On Meta Business Suite, click Creator marketplace in the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Click the Campaigns tab.
  3. Click on View creators for the campaign you would like to create a project.
  4. Click Invite creators in the top-right corner. Note: You can also click Invite next to a creator’s name under Invited creators.
  5. Click Invite next to the creator you’d like to invite. From here, you’ll be able to edit details to personalize your invitation. When you’re ready to invite the creator, click Send invite.
If you set your project to be discoverable by creators, you can also review creators who have expressed interest under Interested creators.
