Add or edit the location of an existing Instagram post
You can add or edit the location of photos or videos you've already shared on Instagram.
Add a location
To add a location to an existing Instagram post:
  1. Above your photo or video, tap more options.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap Add Location, then enter the location.
  4. Tap Done.
Edit a location
To change or remove the location of an existing Instagram post:
  1. Above your photo or video, tap more options.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap the location name. You can either:
    • Change the location. Tap Find a Location..., then enter the new location.
    • Remove the location. Tap close next to Select a Location.
  4. Tap Done to save your changes.
