Make posts from certain people appear higher in your Instagram feed
You can make photos and videos people share on Instagram appear higher in your feed when you add their accounts to favorites.
Add people to your favorites
To add someone to your Instagram favorites:
- Tap
above a post in your feed.
- Tap Add to favorites.
You can add up to 50 accounts to your favorites. Accounts will not receive a notification when you add them to favorites.

above them in your feed.When people are added to favorites, you can also choose to see posts from them by tapping Instagram in the top left, then tapping Favorites. Posts you see in Favorites will start with the newest posts at the top of feed.
Manage your favorites
To add or remove accounts from your favorites:
From your Instagram feed:- Tap Instagram in the top left of feed, then tap Favorites.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap Search at the top, then enter who you want to search for.
- Tap Add next to an account's name to add them to your favorites. To remove an account from your favorites, tap Remove next to their name.
From your Instagram profile:- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Below What you see, tap
Favorites.
- Tap Search at the top, then enter who you want to search for.
- Tap Add next to an account's name to add them to your favorites. To remove an account from your favorites, tap Remove next to their name.
If you'd like to clear all your current favorites, tap Remove all above your list of favorites.
Favorites can also be managed by tapping above a post from one of your favorites in feed, then tapping Manage favorites.
