Delete comments you've made on Instagram posts
You can view and delete comments you’ve made on other people’s Instagram posts from Your activity. If you delete a comment you've written on an Instagram reel that was shared to Facebook, it'll be removed from both apps.
Delete your comment
To delete a comment you’ve made:
- Tap
below the post or tap any comment.
- Tap the comment you'd like to delete.
- Tap
to delete comment.
Delete multiple comments you've made
To delete multiple comments at once that you’ve made:
- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Below How you use Instagram, tap Your activity.
- Below Interactions, tap
- Tap Select in the top right, then tap
on the comments you'd like to delete. To filter your comments before making your choices:
- Tap newest to oldest to sort comments chronologically.
- Tap All dates to filter comments in a specific date range.
- Tap All authors to filter comments by account.
- Tap Apply.
- Tap Delete at the bottom to delete your comments. Tap Delete to confirm.
