See your recent searches on Instagram
You can view the hashtags, accounts, audio, tags, and places you’ve recently searched for on Instagram.
See your recent searches for your accounts in an Accounts Center
  1. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap more options in the top right.
  3. Tap Accounts Center, then tap Your information and permissions.
  4. Tap the account for which you'd like to review and manage recent searches.
Note: Not everyone will be able to access this setting in Accounts Center at this time.
If these steps don't work for you, try this:
See your recent searches from Your activity
  1. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Below How you use Instagram, tap Your activity.
  3. Tap Recent searches.
  4. From here you can:
    • Tap any of your recent searches to view it again.
    • Clear a recent search by tapping close next to the search item.
    • Clear all of your recent searches by tapping Clear All in the top right. Tap Clear All again to confirm or Not Now to cancel.
See your recent searches from Search & Explore
  1. Tap search at the bottom to go to Search & Explore.
  2. Tap Search in the search bar at the top, then tap See All in the top right.
