Remove a Rejected Product Tag
When you tag products from a shop on Instagram, our review system will check to make sure those products follow our commerce policies. You’ll receive a notification in the app if a product you tagged was not approved. You can choose to appeal your product tag or remove the rejected tag. If you’d like to remove a rejected product tag, you can follow the steps below:
To remove a rejected product tag:
- Go to the media with the tag you'd like to review.
- Tap the tag.
- Tap Remove Product.
You've now removed your product tag. Rejected product tags will only be visible to you. People viewing your Instagram content will only see tags of approved products.
