How to see shared activity on Instagram
Shared activity is currently only available on mobile devices.
Shared activity lets you see the tags, likes and comments you share with other accounts on Instagram. You can also see how long you’ve followed an account, and how long accounts have followed you. Shared activity is only available when one or both accounts follow each other.
When using shared activity, you can see the photos and reels where you've tagged each other, or liked and commented on each other's content. You can also directly manage your shared activity by removing or deleting shared content.
How to see shared activity
  1. Open Instagram on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to a profile of someone you follow or who follows you.
  3. Tap more actions in the top right.
  4. Select See shared activity.
You can also find shared activity by navigating to your Instagram profile and tapping Following, selecting more actions and choosing See shared activity.
What you can see on shared activity
  • Tags: Photos and reels where you and the other account tagged one another.
  • Likes: Likes made on one another’s photos and reels.
  • Comments: Comments made on one another’s photos and reels.
  • Follows: See when you followed each other, if applicable.
