Manage suggestions of your Threads posts on other apps
If your Threads profile is public, your posts may be suggested by Meta on Facebook or Instagram so people can discover, follow, and interact with you. You can adjust suggestions of your posts on Instagram and Facebook from Threads.
Manage post suggestions
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap Privacy, then tap Suggesting posts on other apps.
- Below Allow your posts to be suggested on, you can:
- Tap
next to Instagram to turn off suggesting of your Threads posts from Instagram.
- Tap
- Tap
Keep in mind
- When you choose to opt out of your posts being suggested by Meta on other apps, others can still share and reshare your posts on or off the Threads app (examples: reshares, links, Instagram stories, messages).
- Replies to a post may still be shown in other apps.
