When will I get paid for something I sold in Instagram Direct?
Qualified users who have set up business accounts or creator accounts on Instagram can accept payments in messages on Instagram.
Once you’ve sent the item to the buyer, tap Mark as sent on the payment within 21 days. Money from items you’ve sold through Instagram Direct will typically be available in your bank account 3-5 days after the item has been marked as sent. Bank transfer timelines are dependent on your bank, Meta's payment partner, and Automated Clearing House (ACH).
Where to find your chat payments in Instagram Direct- Tap

You can filter your chat payments by Requested, Paid, or Canceled.
Tapping on an individual payout will tell you the status, the pay period, and the total amount.
Update your payout settings for selling in Instagram DirectYou can update your payout method (the bank account where you’ll receive your earnings) at any time.
Updating your payout method causes a 10-day hold on your payouts. This helps protect your account against fraud. Any earnings made during this period will be available after a 10-day hold is over. After 10 days, the regular payout timeline of 3-5 days resumes. In total, it may take up to 15 days to receive earnings after updating your payout method.
