Instagram protects your information by:
- Not displaying your full digital wallet address anywhere on Instagram
- Not showing collectibles without permission from either the collectible owner or creator
- Removing collectible posts that don't follow our Community Guidelines, Instagram Terms of Use, and Digital Collectible Terms of Use
- Working with third-party wallet apps that validate the owners and creators of collectibles
Instagram can see collectibles with supported media on supported blockchains when you connect a supported digital wallet. Collectibles in your connected wallet aren’t publicly visible, unless you choose to share them.
Note: Since blockchain data is public, people may be able to associate the public address of your wallet with your Instagram account.
