We’re testing a feature where your Instagram followers can choose to view and reply to your Instagram story directly from Facebook if they’ve linked their accounts.

Keep in mind:

• Your audience isn’t changing. Only your Instagram followers can view your Instagram story on Facebook.
• Only your Instagram username will be shown to your followers viewing your Instagram story from Facebook, even if your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook account.
• If you hide your story from specific people on Instagram, they won’t be able to see your Instagram story on Instagram or Facebook.
• Replies to your Instagram story will still be sent to your Direct messages on Instagram.

Note: If you don’t want your Instagram followers to be able to view your Instagram stories from Facebook, toggle off the Viewing From Facebook setting in Story Controls on Instagram. Your Facebook audience will only be able to see your Instagram story if you share it to your Facebook story.
