Gift a Subscription on Instagram
Subscribers and followers can gift a Subscription to anyone on Instagram to access a creator’s exclusive content.
Note: Gifts do not expire and the recipients can redeem them at any time.
How to gift a Subscription on Instagram
To gift a creator’s Instagram Subscription:
- Go to the creator’s profile, then tap Subscribe.
- Tap Gift a subscription.
- Choose your recipient, then tap Next. Note: You can only send a Subscription gift to one profile at a time.
- Tap Next.
- Choose a Subscription plan. You can choose to gift a Subscription for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. Note: This is a one-time payment from you.
- Tap Purchase to confirm.
The recipient will be notified of your gift through Instagram direct message where they can tap Redeem gift to redeem their gifted Subscription.
The duration of the gifted Subscription starts from the time the recipient claims their Subscription. Once their gifted Subscription ends, recipients are able to renew their Subscription by tapping Subscribe on the creator’s Instagram profile. Note: Subscription gifts are not refundable, even if the recipient doesn’t claim their gift, and do not automatically renew.
