How do I mute push notifications on Instagram?

You can stop receiving push notifications from Instagram by adjusting your settings.

Instagram app for Android and iPhone:
  1. Tap or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap Menu, then tap Your Activity.
  3. Tap Time, then tap Notification Settings.
  4. Tap next to Pause All and select a time. You can also tap a type of notification (example: Posts, Stories and Comments) below Pause All to turn off those kinds of notifications.
Instagram.com from a computer:
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then click instagram-settingsSettings.
  2. Click Push Notifications in the left menu.
  3. Click next to Off below a type of notification (example: Reminders, Comments, Likes) to turn off those kinds of notifications.
Instagram.com from a mobile browser:
  1. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap instagram-settingsSettings in the top left.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap Push Notifications.
  5. Tap next to Off below a type of notification (example: Reminders, Comments, Likes) to turn off those kinds of notifications.
