Choose who sees your donation on Instagram
As of October 31, 2023, we partner exclusively with PayPal Giving Fund for nonprofits in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. All donations are irrevocable gifts to PPGF and can only be refunded in certain circumstances as outlined by PayPal Giving Fund’s Donation Refund Policy or when required by law.
When you donate to a nonprofit fundraiser, you can choose to keep your username and the amount you donated hidden from other people on Instagram.
The person who started the fundraiser and the nonprofit will always see your username and how much you donated.
When you choose Username or Username and Amount as the visibility for your donation, only people who follow you, the fundraiser creator, and the nonprofit will see your donation.
