Report a seller or product on Instagram
If you think a seller or product goes against our Commerce Policies, you can report them.
Report a seller:
  1. Go to the profile of the seller you want to report.
  2. Tap (iPhone) or more options (Android) in the top right.
  3. Tap Report and follow the on-screen instructions.
Report a seller for misleading content or a possible scam:
  1. Go to the profile of the seller you want to report.
  2. Tap (iPhone) or more options (Android) in the top right.
  3. Tap Report (iPhone) or Report…(Android), then tap Report account.
  4. Tap It's posting content that shouldn't be on Instagram.
  5. Scroll down, then select Misleading or possible scam.
Report a product:
  1. Go to the product page of the product you want to report.
  2. Tap (iPhone) or more options (Android) in the top right.
  3. Tap Report product and select a reason.
Report a post containing a tagged product:
  1. Go to the post with a tagged product.
  2. Tap (iPhone) or more options (Android) in the top right.
  3. Tap Report and select a reason.
Keep in mind that your report is anonymous, except if you’re reporting an intellectual property infringement. The account you reported won’t see who reported them.

If you need help with your order
If you bought something on Instagram, you'll first need to contact the seller directly for help. If the seller hasn't responded to your message, you can contact Instagram for help.
Keep in mind that we may suspend or ban a seller if they go against our Commerce Policies. Buyers who file fraudulent claims are also subject to consequences outlined in our Purchase Protection Policies.
