How do I report a technical problem on Instagram?
If you notice something on Instagram isn't working correctly, like a broken feature or a technical problem, try updating the app. If it’s still not working after updating, you can report it to us.
Make sure to include as much detail about the problem as possible in your report. Information like the kind of phone or tablet you were using, what you were doing when the problem occurred and adding a screenshot may help us address the issue.
Report through settings
To report something that's not working through settings:
  1. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap more options in the top right, then tap settingsSettings.
  3. Tap Help, then tap Report a Problem.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Reporting issues when they happen helps make Instagram better, and we appreciate the time it takes to give us this information.
If you want to report something else or fix a different issue:
Note: Information about your device and Instagram account related to the issue you’re reporting will be automatically included in this report in order to help us understand and resolve the error, flaw, failure or other issue reported.
You can further help us fix this problem by tapping Include Complete Logs and Diagnostics when you send your report. This includes information such as user activity logs, network logs, crash logs and memory dumps associated with the user’s account. You may also choose to attach a bug description, screenshot, or video in your report. Please do not attach any unnecessary or irrelevant content in your report.
We will store the information in your report and other reports like it only for as long as required to resolve the issue you are reporting. We will not use the information in your report for other purposes. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Learn more about how your information is used on Instagram, in our Data Policy.
