Use camera effects on Instagram
You can add a camera effect to your stories and reels.
Add camera effects to your stories- Tap
in the top left of the screen and select Story, or swipe right from anywhere in feed.
- Scroll to Story at the bottom.
- Swipe left at the bottom of the screen and select an effect. To see effects from independent creators, swipe all the way to the left and tap
.
- Tap to take a photo or tap and hold to take a video. When using the front or back-facing camera, the effect you choose will automatically appear on the closest person’s face.
Add camera effects to your reels- Tap
- Scroll to Reels at the bottom.
- Tap
to scroll through the effects and select one.
- Tap your camera view and continue recording your reel.
