Return an item you pre-ordered from a shop on Instagram
Pre-orders are currently available for certain items as determined by a shop that can be purchased with checkout on Instagram. Only shops in the US offer pre-orders at this time.
To return something you pre-ordered on Instagram, you first have to request a return from the seller. If the seller accepts your return request, you will receive instructions for how to return the item in an email from the seller.
If you have an issue with your return, you can contact Instagram for additional support.
To request a return:
Instagram app for Android and iPhone:- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap Orders and payments.
- Tap the order and item you want to return.
- Scroll down and tap Return item.
- Select a reason for the return, then tap Continue.
- Review your request, then tap Request return to confirm.
If you don't see the item in your Orders and payments, please contact the shop directly for help.
