Instagram Badges Purchase Terms
The badges feature (“Badges”) allows Instagram users (“Users”) to support their favorite creators (“you,” “your,” or "Creators") through the purchase of a badge experience with Instagram (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Instagram”) that gives those people access to digital content that may be made available by Instagram or Creators ("Badge Experience"). These Badges Purchase Terms (“Terms”) apply to your purchase of a Badge Experience.
  1. We may end your right to use all or any part of the Badge Experience immediately, if we or a Creator block you from accessing any content, if the Creator has a reasonable belief that you have breached these Terms, or if you are using the Badge Experience in any manner other than for its intended purpose or illegally. If we end your rights under this section, you will not receive a refund.
  2. We may share revenue generated from Badges between Instagram, third-party platform providers, and individual Creators, according to the terms of agreements between Instagram and such Creators and third-party platform providers.
  3. We may change or stop offering Badges at any time in our sole discretion. In no event will we be liable in any way for the discontinuation of Badges, the removal of or disabling of access to the content or for the withdrawal of the content or Badges.
  4. When you purchase a Badge Experience, you agree: (a) we will provide you with access to your Badge Experience immediately; and (b) you waive any statutory right you might have to change your mind about your Badge Experience and receive a refund within the applicable cooling off period. Because you agree to access the Badge Experience immediately and waive your statutory right to change your mind in the cooling off period, you cannot exercise your statutory right to cancel and receive a refund within the cooling off period.
  5. Continued use of Badges requires an active Instagram account. If you delete your account, you lose access to any content obtained through Badges.
  6. Your purchase of a Badge Experience may also be subject to additional terms, depending on the method of in-app payments you use.
  7. We reserve the right to change the prices of Badge Experiences from time to time.
  8. These Terms supplement Instagram’s Terms of Use and all other terms, conditions, and policies incorporated therein (collectively, the “Instagram Terms”). Badges are part of the "Meta Products" provided to you by Meta Platforms, Inc., and your use of Badges is deemed part of your use of Meta Products. In the event of any express conflict between these Terms and the Instagram Terms, these Terms will govern solely with respect to your use of Badges and solely to the extent of the conflict. We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time and your continued use of Badges constitutes acceptance of those changes.
