View and download your Threads information
You can view your Threads profile data or download a copy of your data at any time.
Review your Threads data on Instagram
- Go to the Instagram app.
- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Below How you use Instagram, tap Your activity.
- Below How you use Instagram, tap
Account history to view changes you’ve made to your account. From here, you may be able to make additional changes by tapping on the change.
- To filter your account history, tap one of the filters at the top.
Download a copy of your Threads data
If you want a copy of what you've posted on Threads , you can request a download of your data in a machine readable HTML or JSON format. You'll need your Instagram account password to request this information. Learn more if you've forgotten your password or can't log in.
To download a copy of your Threads data:
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap
Account.
- Tap Download your information.
- Enter the email address where you'd like to receive a link to your data, then tap Request Download.
- Enter your Instagram account password and tap Next in the top right, then tap Done.
- You'll receive an email titled Your Threads Data with a link to your data. Tap Download data and follow the instructions to finish downloading your information.
Note: It may take up to 30 days for us to email you a download link. Your file won’t include content that you’ve deleted from your Threads account.
