Update your Meta Verified creator profile information

Meta Verified creators that have successfully completed the verification process can update their profile name and picture once every 3 days.
Note: Updating your profile name or picture will require you to go through the verification process again.

Update your profile name

Instagram mobile app (iPhone)
To update your verified profile’s name on Instagram:
  1. Open the Instagram mobile app and log into your verified account.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  3. Tap menu in the top right, then tap Meta Verified.
  4. Tap your verified profile, then tap Manage subscription.
  5. Tap Name, then tap Edit profile name.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Instagram mobile app (Android)
To update your verified profile’s name on Instagram:
  1. Open the Instagram mobile app and log into your verified account.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  3. Tap menu in the top right, then tap Meta Verified.
  4. Tap your verified profile, then tap Manage subscription.
  5. Tap Name, then tap Edit profile name.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Facebook mobile app (iPhone)
To update your verified profile’s name on Facebook:
  1. Open the Facebook mobile app and log into your verified account.
  2. Tap in the bottom right, then tap .
  3. Tap Go to Accounts Center, then tap Meta Verified.
  4. Tap your verified profile, then tap Manage subscription.
  5. Below “Edit name or photo”, tap Name.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Facebook mobile app (Android)
To update your verified profile’s name on Facebook:
  1. Open the Facebook mobile app and log into your verified account.
  2. Tap in the top right, then tap .
  3. Tap Go to Accounts Center, then tap Meta Verified.
  4. Tap your verified profile, then tap Manage subscription.
  5. Below “Edit name or photo”, tap Name.
  6. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Facebook website (Desktop)
To update your verified profile’s name on Facebook:
  1. Log into your verified Facebook account on a computer.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. On the left, click Accounts Center and then click Meta Verified.
  5. Click your verified profile, then click Manage subscription.
  6. Below “Edit name or photo”, click Name.
  7. Follow the onscreen instructions.

After you submit your profile updates, you’ll go through the verification process again.
These updates will need to be reviewed and approved before they display on your profile. This process can take up to 3 days.
