Buy something on Instagram
There are a few ways to buy something on Instagram:
- Buy now: If you are ready to buy a single product from a shop, tap Buy now on the product page to proceed to checkout and complete your purchase using Meta Pay.
- Add to Cart: If you want to save a product and continue shopping, or save multiple products from the same shop to buy together, you can add them to your Cart and checkout using Meta Pay when you're ready.
For product pages showing View on website, you must complete the purchase on the shop's website. Learn more about which products can be bought on Instagram.
Buy Now on InstagramTo buy a product if you have not made a payment on Instagram before:
- In a shop, tap any product photo with a

- Select product specifications for your purchase (example: color, size), if necessary.
- Tap Buy now.
- Enter your contact, shipping and payment information, then tap Continue. If you have already set up Meta Pay on Facebook, you may be able to connect your payment information to Instagram.
- Review your order details then tap Pay now.
You can also opt to receive marketing emails from select shops at the email address you entered at checkout. To opt-in, tap 
next to Email sign up at checkout. You can read the shop’s policies for more information about how they may use your data and can unsubscribe at any time by contacting the shop.

To ship to a different address, you can always add an additional shipping address.
To buy a product if you have previously made a payment on Instagram:
- In a shop, tap any product photo with a
- Select product specifications for your purchase (example: color, size), if necessary.
- Tap Buy now.
- If you have made a payment on Instagram before, your previously saved shipping and payment information will be filled in. Review your order details, then tap Pay now.
Keep in mind you can update your payment information or change your shipping address in Orders and payments.
Once you submit your order, you'll see the option to create a PIN for easy and secure checkouts on future orders.
Buy from your Cart on InstagramAny time you see Add to Cart on the product page, you can add multiple items from the same shop into your Cart and buy them together. Adding items to your Cart allows you to continue shopping and complete your purchase when you're ready.
To buy items in your Cart:
- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap
Cart, then select the Cart you'd like to view.
- Tap Go to checkout at the bottom.
- If you have not made a payment on Instagram before, enter your shipping and payment information. If you have previously made a payment on Instagram, your previously saved shipping and payment information will be filled in.
- Tap Continue at the bottom.
- Review your order details, then tap Pay now.
Keep in mind that products from different shops in your Cart must be purchased separately.
About orders on InstagramWhen you buy something on Instagram:
- You can see all of your orders in your Order History.
- Your purchase may be covered by Purchase Protection.
- You can contact the shop or Instagram for support.
