View Insights on your Instagram Videos
This feature is only available on the Instagram mobile app.
Certain Messaging-related metrics, ad campaigns, and organic messaging features for businesses and ads delivered to and from Europe and Japan will be unavailable.
You can view insights on the videos you post to Instagram.
Before you begin:
  1. You need to have a business or creator account on Instagram to view insights on your Instagram videos. Learn how to set up a business or creator account.
To see insights for a video you posted:
  1. Tap profile or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
  2. Tap video below your bio, then tap the video you want to see insights for.
  3. Tap more options (iPhone) or more options (Android) at the top of the video.
  4. Tap View Insights.
Now, you'll be able to see how many likes, comments, saves, and shares your video got. You'll also see other Engagement and Post Interactions metrics, such as Accounts Reached, view count, average percent of video watched, and an audience retention graph.
Note: Only you can see the average percent watched by viewers and the audience retention line graph. However, likes, comments and view count are visible to people who watch your video, just like they are in Feed.
