Manage who can mention you on Threads
When someone mentions you on Threads, people can tap @[your username] to go to your profile.
You can choose who can mention you by changing your mention settings. If someone that’s not in your selected audience tries to mention you, they’ll see that you don’t allow mentions from everyone.
Update your mention settings
Threads app for Android and iPhone- Tap
or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile.
- Tap
in the top right.
- Tap
Privacy, then tap
Mentions.
- Tap
to the right of the audience you want to let mention you (example: Everyone, Profiles you follow, No One).
Note that if you block someone, they won't be able to mention your username.
