What to do if you forget your Instagram username
If you forget or don’t know your Instagram username, you can still log in using your phone number or email address associated with your account. Once you log in, you’ll be able to find your username at the top of your profile. You can also learn what to do if you’ve lost access to the email or phone number you used to sign up for Instagram.
If you think your username was changed as a result of your account being hacked:
- Check if you've received an email from Instagram notifying you that your account information was changed.
- Ask a friend to visit your profile and take a screenshot of your current username.
